ComicCon is a crazy place, full of costumes and characters and movie stars. A vortex of eye candy. Truly, the people watching is unparalleled and I love going every year. Plus it's like a convention of all of the hair and makeup people in Los Angeles, who have all descended on San Diego to beautify the actors and actresses there to promote their movies. I see all of my favorite people all in one day, in the same place. It's so fun.
For the last five years, I have been there with Nikki Reed who was promoting the Twilight movies, but this year I went with the drop dead gorgeous and insanely talented Elizabeth Olsen, who was there to talk about her movie that comes out next year..... Godzilla! (I am so excited about this project...it sounds awesome).
Elizabeth is a true natural beauty. Her skin is flawless, her eyes a crisp blue-green, and bone structure to die for. She wanted really easy, effortless paired down makeup so we went with the basics; a touch of tinted moisturizer, cream blush, a very light dusting of bronzer, the subtlest sweep of bronze shadow at the lash line, mascara, and a lip tint. Done and done. I think she looked amazing and it was refreshing to do so little and let her features really shine through.
