Jessica Alba is truly beautiful. Many women in Hollywood are, but she is just as beautiful on the inside. Not only is she a hard working actress, she also recently founded The Honest Company (which makes non toxic baby and household products--and I can say as a consumer that they are awesome! I've been using the diapers on my baby since the company launched last year). She is also a member of the board for Baby2Baby, a non-profit that gives new and gently used products to children ages 0-4 in Los Angeles. I love chatting with her about green products, baby stuff, makeup...you name it. I always, always learn something from her!
For the 1st Annual Baby2Baby Gala, Jessica wore a breathtaking Valentino gown and jewels from Harry Winston. It was so romantic and pretty that I couldn't resist following suit with the makeup. I did want it to have a little oomph though so I went with a steely grey shadow on the eyes and loads of flirty lashes paired with bronzed skin and rosy lips and cheeks (I actually used the Laura Mercier Caviar Stick as a base for the shadow, pressing it into the lid with my fingers before brushing on the shadow). I skipped eye liner altogether so it would have a softer feel, just a wash of metallic grey over the lid. The feeling is simultaneously strong and soft.
