My very first Guess ad just came out in the October issues. Working for Guess was so exciting, it's such an iconic brand and I think our campaign is really yummy and sensual. The amazing Yu Tsai (www.yutsai.com) photographed it and Giannandrea (www.thewallgroup.com), one of my favorite hairdressers ever, did the hair.
Here's the makeup breakdown:
Guess is a sexy brand, no doubt about it! Since this is for fall/winter the goal was to make her sexy and inviting. I wanted to make the eyes softly sensual, so I kept the lines undefined, working to make her very almond shaped eyes more round. I added depth using grays and deep rusty purples (the purple and burgundy colors add depth but keep the look warm) with a healthy dose (3 coats) of jet black mascara. I kept the skin pale and luminous so she looks like a gorgeous scandinavian goddess.
